Echo Sonographer-Collingwood, ON

The primary role of the Cardiac Sonographer is to perform diagnostic Echo's as ordered by one of our 5 Cardiologists. Imaging procedures at the request of the physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiac disease. Testing includes, Exercise Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress Echo, Contrast Echo and Bubble Study. Do you have the interest and personality that is keen to play in the great outdoors? DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree, graduate of an accredited educational program in Cardiac Sonography Current registration with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) and/or CRCS-AE with Sonography Canada Mandatory membership with CMRITO(College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario) Current CPR certification Excellent communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills Proven flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills as relates to patient care Demonstrated commitment to and involvement with own profession (e.g. membership with professional association, etc.) preferred Effective and demonstrated team skills
