Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract A skilled and detail-oriented professional is needed for a contract opportunity specializing in imaging, with a strong emphasis on echocardiography. This role is ideal for candidates experienced in performing high-quality echocardiograms and utilizing advanced imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certification as an Echo Tech (ARDMS or CCI preferred) Proven experience in performing echocardiograms in a clinical or hospital setting Proficient with imaging equipment and echocardiography software Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Operate echocardiography and other imaging equipment for cardiac assessments Produce accurate, high-quality images and interpret preliminary results for physician review Record test findings and maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation Maintain a clean, safe imaging environment and adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding procedures and outcomes Support patient care by explaining imaging procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results This contract position provides the opportunity to work with advanced technology while contributing to patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
