Job Description

Where You'll Work Founded in 1951, Dignity Health - Mark Twain Medical Center is a 25-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in San Andreas, California. Serving over 90,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including cancer care, emergency care, and orthopedics. Mark Twain Medical Center also includes four Family Medical Clinics offering exams, immunizations, and care for minor injuries. One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Technologist, Echo/Vascular, you will help patients of all ages receive accurate and comprehensive diagnostic imaging studies so they can get timely and effective medical care and achieve better health outcomes. Every day you will perform a wide variety of advanced procedures in both the Echo and Vascular labs, including transthoracic and transesophageal echoes, stress echoes, and various vascular studies like carotid Doppler and abdominal aortic ultrasounds. You will be expected to provide technical leadership and expert instruction to fellow sonographers, meticulously troubleshoot and maintain imaging systems like Merge Cardio PACS, and actively contribute to achieving national accreditation (IAC) for the echo lab. To be successful in this role, you will combine a nationally recognized certification/licensure in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), specialized advanced certification in CT, and a profound understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and CT physics. You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills for effective patient interaction, and thrive in a dynamic, high-volume imaging environment dedicated to delivering high-quality, precise diagnostic imaging. Job Requirements Required Minimum 3 years acute care experience. Basic Life Support - CPR Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, or Preferred Completion of an approved (AMA) program for Cardiovascular Technology with certificate
