Diagnostic Sonography — San Diego, CA Join a leading facility in San Diego, CA offering 8-hour day shifts at $60.00/hour pay rate, and a comprehensive W-2 benefits package with weekly pay via direct deposit.

  • Travel and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Independently prepare patients, exam rooms, and procedure tables using dirty/clean/sterile/aseptic techniques.
Set up and operate imaging equipment (including angiographic imaging systems, CT, and ultrasound) to present medically significant findings. Assist in complex and highly specialized IR procedures as primary assistant to the Interventional Radiologist, including diagnostic and interventional arterial/venous procedures and non-vascular interventional procedures. Function as primary circulator during cases and maintain highly complex sterile surgical set-ups. Maintain infection control standards, universal precautions, and proper specimen/supply handling. Perform operator-level maintenance and initiate action to obtain higher-level support when needed. Support patient scheduling/triage, review required documentation for accuracy, and retrieve pertinent lab results to ensure criteria are met. What You Need Required Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited program 2 years of experience ARDMS certification Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance
