Ultrasonographer Tech | San Francisco, California Soliant - 3.9 San Francisco, CA Job Details Contract $27.45 - $50.00 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Image acquisition for patient care Ultrasound Certification Operating medical imaging equipment Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Full Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in both general and OB ultrasound procedures within a dynamic, high-volume environment. This position requires expertise in operating as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a level 1 trauma center, where adaptability and accuracy are essential.
Qualifications:
Active ARDMS certification required. Demonstrated proficiency in general and obstetric (OB) ultrasound techniques. Prior experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital or trauma center environment. Ability to manage a consistently high patient volume while maintaining precise imaging quality. Adept at collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams and communicating effectively.
Schedule/Hours:
Shift to be determined based on department needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations for general and OB imaging as ordered by physicians. Accurately document findings and collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians regarding results. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with all protocols and infection control policies. Manage workflow efficiently, prioritizing urgency as appropriate within a level 1 trauma setting. Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients during procedures.
