Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced and efficient Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer to provide top-tier patient care in a dynamic setting. This opportunity is ideal for someone adept at both OB and General ultrasound procedures, ready to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment typical of a level 1 trauma center. The contract position offers the chance to utilize and grow your skills among a collaborative, supportive team.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of ultrasound imaging procedures, specializing in both obstetric and general exams Deliver accurate and timely studies to assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment planning Handle a consistently high patient volume with professionalism and composure Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards Accurately document procedures and findings, maintaining patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patient families, providing education and reassurance
Qualifications:
Certification by ARDMS is required Demonstrated experience in both OB and general ultrasound imaging Prior experience in a high-volume environment, preferably in a trauma or acute care center Comfortable managing urgent cases and adapting to changing priorities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently and supportively as part of a multidisciplinary care team Flexibility for shift assignment (final schedule to be determined) Take advantage of this opportunity to advance your career while making a real impact in patient lives.
