1 Description American Traveler is seeking a General Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital. Details Acute care hospital setting with 266 staffed beds General ultrasound unit 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Rotating weekend shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Standby call rotation required, including Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM Charting via Epic (required) No floating between like units within this assignment Requirements Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience Current BLS and ARDMS certification required Epic EMR experience required Active professional license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Additional Information Local candidates are accepted for this position All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; minimal to no RTO is preferred, as significant RTO requests may impact eligibility Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration SSN and DOB required for consideration
