Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Step into an impactful diagnostic role where you'll perform critical echocardiographic examinations, supporting quality patient care in a busy healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals with expertise in imaging—specifically, echocardiography—who are passionate about contributing to a patient-centered team.
Key Qualifications:
Registered or registry-eligible Echocardiography Technologist (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent) Demonstrated experience in performing and interpreting echocardiograms Proficiency with imaging equipment and related technology Strong collaboration and communication skills with physicians and clinical staff Ability to work accurately with attention to patient safety and comfort Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct transthoracic and, as needed, transesophageal echocardiograms in accordance with physician orders and protocols Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures Ensure clear documentation of findings and maintain accurate medical records Collaborate on preliminary interpretations and assist with follow-up procedures Maintain and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment as required Adhere to best practices for infection prevention and patient confidentiality
