Every day you will perform diverse ultrasound procedures on various patient populations, using advanced equipment. You'll prepare patients, acquire/process optimal images, recognize/document pathology, and provide preliminary findings. Maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with radiologists are key. To be successful, you will possess strong technical proficiency in ultrasound, a deep understanding of anatomy/physiology/pathology, and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication for patient/team interaction and a commitment to diagnostic accuracy/patient safety are essential. Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained. Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care. Identifies self by name and title to patient/family. Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive. Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified. Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
