Qualifications and Desired Experience:
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent)
  • Previous hospital or clinical imaging experience preferred
  • Proficient in performing a variety of general ultrasound procedures
  • Skill in using, maintaining, and troubleshooting imaging equipment
  • Strong patient care and communication abilities
  • Commitment to professional standards, safety, and infection control
  • Ability to multitask and meet clinical deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Safely transfer and position patients for examinations
  • Ensure high-quality imaging while educating and supporting patients
  • Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and department personnel
  • Evaluate image quality and submit findings for interpretation
  • Maintain accurate records and department supplies
  • Follow sterile technique and infection prevention guidelines
