In this rewarding Ultrasound General (Sonographer) role, you will expand your expertise by performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to physicians' specifications, gaining valuable exposure to diverse imaging practices and leadership approaches. Key Responsibilities:
Execute diagnostic Ultrasound procedures with precision, ensuring optimal imaging results. Expertly operate all Ultrasound Imaging equipment and related systems. Educate, position, and assist patients to deliver safe, effective care, using sterile techniques and infection prevention protocols. Coordinate exams for efficiency and patient comfort, maintaining open communication with patients, providers, and team members. Evaluate image quality, submit images and clinical data for Radiologist interpretation, and ensure accurate documentation. Manage department supplies appropriately, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities while meeting deadlines. Transfer patients safely as needed for Ultrasound examinations.
Qualifications:
Prior experience performing general Ultrasound procedures. Proficient in the use of current Ultrasound equipment. Current credentialing as required (e.g., ARDMS or equivalent). Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
