Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Enhance patient care in a high-quality environment by performing a variety of general and vascular ultrasound procedures. This contract role is ideal for professionals seeking to leverage their expertise in diagnostic imaging, working with advanced equipment and collaborating closely with an experienced clinical team.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, overnight shifts: 9:00 p.m.-5:30 a.m. or 10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m.
Weekend on-call rotation:
backup call every 4th weekend
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in general and vascular ultrasound (excluding ABIs and segmental pressures) Current ARDMS certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required Proficient with all general and vascular ultrasound modalities except ABIs/segmental pressure studies Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality general and vascular ultrasound studies, providing clear and accurate images for diagnostic interpretation Follow safety and infection control guidelines to ensure patient and staff well-being Communicate findings and technical information effectively to involved healthcare professionals Document procedures thoroughly in accordance with facility protocol and regulatory requirements Respond efficiently to on-call duties and adapt readily to workflow demands on nights and weekends Maintain a professional and compassionate approach with all patients Be instrumental in providing essential diagnostic support within a collaborative clinical environment.
