1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 1 year of ultrasound experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Lafayette, CO. Details Hospital-based ultrasound department Performs general and vascular ultrasound procedures; no echo, breast, ABIs, or segmental pressure studies 4x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM No weekend shifts required On-call requirement of approximately once every 4-5 weeks, plus assigned holidays Uses Epic for charting 32 hours per week Requirements Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required ARDMS registry required BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to assignment start Associate's degree required Proficiency with general and vascular ultrasound procedures (excluding ABIs, segmental pressure, echo, and breast) Experience with Epic EMR preferred Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite License required if applicable Additional Information Performs ultrasound procedures per physician specifications, including patient positioning, immobilization, and image acquisition Submits images and clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation and evaluates image quality Coordinates examinations to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care Practices sterile technique and adheres to infection prevention policies Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment DOB and last 4 digits of SSN are required for consideration 2 professional references required for consideration
