Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with strong general and vascular imaging skills. This contract position is ideal for professionals who enjoy working independently in a dynamic environment and are committed to providing top-tier diagnostic imaging services.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM or 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Weekend on-call: Serve as the weekend backup every 4th weekend
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in ultrasound (preferred) Expertise in all general and vascular sonography, with the exception of ABIs and segmental pressure Current ARDMS certification Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare teams Strong communication and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general and vascular ultrasound studies with accuracy and attention to patient safety Assess patient needs and explain examination procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation Maintain high-quality imaging standards and follow all protocols and physician instructions Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring a safe and clean working environment Accurately document procedures and patient information in medical records Respond to on-call needs promptly, demonstrating flexibility and reliability Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnoses
