Travel Echo Technician

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Travel This travel position requires expertise in echocardiography techniques and strong interpersonal skills for a dynamic healthcare setting. The role involves performing advanced imaging procedures in multiple hospital environments including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, and cath labs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal (TEE) echocardiograms using Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin equipment. Conduct contrast studies (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography. Provide rare pediatric TTE examinations as needed. Document findings accurately in EMR systems including Athena, Meditech, and PICOM. Participate actively in evening, night, and weekend call rotations. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining open communication and receptiveness to feedback. Comply with mandatory flu vaccination requirements without declination.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

RDCS certification required. BLS certification mandatory. Experience with specified ultrasound equipment strongly preferred. Left-handed ultrasound scanner proficiency a plus. Demonstrated ability to work well within diverse clinical environments and as a team player.

Travel assignment with the requirement that your permanent residence is at least 75 miles from this facility.
