1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 6 months of recent experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital-based radiology/ultrasound department in Largo, FL. Details Hospital-based ultrasound department with 286 beds May be required to float to the affiliated psych/rehab campus per facility policy Freestanding ER float potential to a nearby Clearwater location 4x10 hour evening shifts, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Thursday Every other weekend rotation required, shared with hospital staff Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis with hospital employees 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 6 months of ultrasound/sonography experience within the last 6 months Active and current licensure where applicable — license required if applicable BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start Two professional references required (due to Florida placement) US SSN and DOB required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible Additional Information Radiology staff wear black scrubs This position is not open to local candidates; a 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions First-time travelers may wish to confirm eligibility given the recent experience requirement
