Competitive and based on experience and credentials About the Role We are partnering with a well-established outpatient imaging center in South Florida that focuses on women's health and advanced breast imaging services. This team is known for delivering high-quality care using modern technology while maintaining a compassionate, patient-first approach. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Breast Ultrasound Technologist who is passionate about clinical excellence, precision, and providing supportive experience for patients. Position Overview The Breast Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing detailed diagnostic breast ultrasound exams in collaboration with radiologists. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to support patients with care and professionalism throughout the imaging process. Key Responsibilities Perform both diagnostic and screening breast ultrasound exams with accuracy Capture clear, high-quality images for radiologist interpretation Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures in a clear and reassuring manner Support radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies, cyst aspirations, and wire localizations Confirm patient identity, physician orders, and imaging protocols before each exam Accurately document findings and procedures within EMR and PACS systems Follow all safety, infection control, HIPAA, MQSA, and ACR compliance standards Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any issues as needed Work closely with radiologists, clinical staff, and front office teams to ensure smooth patient flow Provide a high level of patient care with professionalism and empathy Required Qualifications (Must-Have) Active certification in breast ultrasound:
ARDMS RDMS
(BR) or ARRT RT(BS) Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on breast ultrasound experience in a clinical or imaging setting Current BLS/CPR certification Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available) Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume outpatient environment Preferred Qualifications Experience assisting with ultrasound-guided breast procedures (biopsies, wire localization, etc.) Additional ARDMS certifications (Abdomen, OB/GYN, or General Sonography) Experience with Hologic systems and ABUS technology Familiarity with
EMR/PACS
platforms (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus) Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Background in a busy outpatient imaging or breast center environment Understanding of ACR and MQSA regulatory standards #
