Travel Ultrasound Technologist in Opa Locka, FL

Key Responsibilities:

Review patient requisitions and clinical indications to determine appropriate ultrasound exams. Collaborate with medical staff and MFM physicians to clarify procedures as needed. Conduct detailed fetal anatomical assessments across all trimesters, identifying abnormalities with investigative precision. Perform Doppler ultrasounds (umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery, ductus venosus) and understand their clinical indications. Evaluate multiple gestations including assessment of chronicity and amnionicity. Execute diagnostic transvaginal ultrasounds and assist with advanced procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS). Utilize 3D imaging techniques and interpret results accurately, preferably with experience on Voluson Expert 22 BT24 USA equipment. Maintain current knowledge through ongoing medical education on ultrasound advancements. Travel reliably between multiple clinic sites as required and be flexible with variable shift schedules.

Desired Qualifications:

Proficient in fetal anatomy and MFM ultrasound protocols across all trimesters. Skilled in diagnostic ultrasound procedures including Dopplers, transvaginal exams, and guided sampling techniques. Experience working independently in a high-volume, complex clinical setting. Capability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
