Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital brings expert pediatric care to your neighborhood through our Outpatient Care Centers. Johns Hopkins All Children's doctors, nurses, therapists and staff work in the Outpatient Care Center, bringing some of our most frequently needed pediatric medical services to a convenient location serving numerous surrounding communities. Position Summary:
The Sonographer II demonstrates an expanding knowledge base in the management of diagnostic testing for specific types of patient populations. The Sonographer II applies more in-depth clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills. Demonstrates an increased capacity to problem-solve through application of testing modalities. Demonstrates and completes unit-specific Competent Clinical Pathway.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with minimum of one-year experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education. Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI Current BLS certification, AHA Ability to read, write, speak and understand English This role is specific to OBGYN patients - the candidates must have experience in this field.
Shift :
Casual / On-Call; Every Thursday and Friday, day shift- 8am-5pm. No weekends, no holidays, no on-call. •This position is located at the OBGYN clinic: 5959 Central Ave St. Petersburg, FL 33710.
Salary Range:
Minimum 51.00/hour - Maximum 51.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority. The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
