Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a PRN Sonographer - Ultrasound Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services. This flexible position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, utilizing your expertise in ultrasound technology to support gynecologic and obstetric care. You will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, assist providers with complex cases, and contribute to accurate diagnosis and patient care. Your skills will help ensure that patients receive timely, compassionate, and precise imaging services that make a real difference in their health journeys. Duties Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision, focusing on obstetrics and gynecology cases Prepare patients for imaging sessions by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process Operate ultrasound equipment using advanced sonography techniques while maintaining strict aseptic technique standards Collaborate closely with providers and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results and assist during complex examinations Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, images, and patient information in accordance with medical imaging protocols Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated, cleaned, and maintained to uphold safety and quality standards Communicate clearly with patients to provide education about procedures and address any concerns or questions Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Proven experience as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist (minimum of 1 year) with knowledge of medical imaging practices Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to obstetrics and gynecology Familiarity with gynecologic and obstetric ultrasound techniques Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and the ability to apply sonography effectively in clinical settings Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and collaborate within healthcare teams Ability to adhere strictly to aseptic technique and safety protocols during procedures Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Basic understanding of anatomy knowledge related to obstetric imaging and general medical imaging practices Join us in making a meaningful impact through your expertise!
