1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week assignment at an acute-care hospital in Tallahassee, FL, working Friday through Sunday on day shifts. Details Work in an acute-care hospital ultrasound department 266-bed facility offering a broad range of services including emergency, cardiac, oncology, orthopedic, surgical, stroke, and behavioral health 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 13-week contract Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer Active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months is required Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start License required if applicable US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted Two professional references required (due to Florida placement) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered This is a travel position; local candidates are not accepted under any circumstances
