Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

Job Summary Must have hands-on experience performing diagnostic ultrasound exams focused on venous reflux and superficial venous systems Demonstrates an adequate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Perform sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasound equipment to locate and evaluate and record functional, pathological and anatomical findings. Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures to the patients. Obtains patient's medical and surgical history relevant to the exam. Properly completes exams according to protocol in a timely manner and fills out tech sheet accordingly.
