Job Description

Boutique OBGYN practice in Winter Park Florida seeking an experienced Sonographer in a private practice which is growing. Work in a collaborative team environment with excellent patient clientele and 2 physicians.
Position Requirements:
  • Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program
  • Perform a variety of sonographic examinations in OB/GYN office including general gynecology, breast, and occational routine Obstetrics.. Gynecology scans include Fibroids, IUD placements, endometrial lining, fertility, and pregnancy confirmations. Consistently producing high quality, accurate scans.
  • Work closely with physicians and office staff in a team environment to provide 5 star patient customer service at all times
  • Interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interact with providers, other facility staff, patients and families when providing instructions or responding to questions or exchanging patient-related information.
  • Practice safe procedures and adheres to infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Promote privacy and comfort for all patients including patient education regarding the exam with clear communication.
  • Ensures adequate clinical history is available to correlate with the ultrasound examination. Complete appropriate documentation before / after exams.
  • Must also complete necessary medical records information to include consents, billing charges, and perform quality control functions related to ultrasound equipment and supplies
  • Preferred Athena Health EMR experience

Experience:
  • Athena Health EMR:
    1 year (Preferred)
  • Medical facility: 2 years (Preferred)
OB/GYN:
2 years (Required)
Language:
  • English (required)
  • Spanish (preferred) Days per week:
  • Initially 1 day per week with additional days tied to practice growth
