Job Description

The Staff Pad is partnering with Blue Ridge Medical Center, located in Blue Ridge, GA to hire an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) who is passionate about making a difference in patients' lives every day. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing high-quality ultrasound exams for diagnostic interpretation including vascular, cardiac, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological and small parts imaging Assisting with specialized procedures such as biopsies when needed Maintaining a clean sterile environment, properly managing the imaging equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance Verifying patient identity and explaining procedures clearly to patients and families to create a comfortable, reassuring experience Accurately documenting studies and completing required records Safely transporting patients to and from the exam room using proper body mechanics Supporting onboarding and training efforts for new team members What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program or equivalent demonstrated expertise to meet department standards ARDMS or CCI certification in at least one specialty or registry-eligible (certification must be obtained within one year of hire) Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire At least one year of hospital-based experience preferred Self-motivated with strong time management skills, dependable, performs well under pressure and committed to patient-centered care Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and position patients safely Ability to stand for extended periods and perform occasional bending and walking If you're a skilled sonographer looking for a rewarding career opportunity with a team that truly values patient care and clinical excellence, we'd love to connect with you.
