Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist

Position Overview:

MedLife Healthcare is seeking a skilled and reliable Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a variety of ultrasound procedures and echocardiography (Echo). This role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel between multiple clinic locations to support patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including echocardiograms (Echo) Ensure accurate imaging and proper documentation for physician review Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes clearly and professionally Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to safety and infection control protocols Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver timely and accurate results Travel between MedLife Healthcare locations as needed to provide coverage

Qualifications:

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent Echo certification strongly preferred Proven experience performing echocardiograms independently Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and best practices Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinical environments Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations
