OB/GYN Ultrasound Technologist

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OB/GYN Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations, including routine scans and specialized fetal assessments. Utilize advanced sonography equipment to capture detailed images of the uterus, ovaries, fetus, and related structures. Apply thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate imaging results. Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure a comfortable experience. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret ultrasound findings and support diagnostic processes. Document all procedures accurately in patient records, including technical details and observations for review. Qualifications Proven experience in obstetric/gynecologic sonography. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging principles relevant to OB/GYN care. Proficiency in sonography techniques, diagnostic radiology practices, and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to demonstrate patient care skills with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. Certification as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent is required.
