Ultrasound Technologist - PRN

Augusta Urology Associates is a private practice consisting of 3 Urologists and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.

Ultrasound Technologist Schedule:

Part-Time Variable (PRN)

Reports To:

Office Manager Position Summary:

Manage ultrasound operations and perform all in-house ultrasounds as assigned by Providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete all ultrasounds ordered by Augusta Urology Associates' physicians/providers. Document all ultrasounds within the EHR. Ensure ultrasounds are sent and received from Vulcan Radiology timely. Manage ultrasound schedule to ensure accuracy. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the management team.

Qualifications:

Required Certification:

ARRT 2+ years of relevant experience preferred

Work Environment:

Employee must be able to communicate clearly with patients. Employee must be able to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time. Employee must be able to be active and mobile for an eight-hour period.
