1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 12-week ambulatory cardiovascular office assignment, with day shifts Monday-Friday and no weekends or call required. Details Ambulatory cardiovascular office setting, open 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Vascular ultrasound unit with one hour allotted per study 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM No weekend or on-call requirements Floating within facility per scope of practice as needed 12-week contract Requirements Minimum of 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience required Active professional licensure required if applicable Copies of relevant certifications required for consideration Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted RTO is capped at a maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment Holiday coverage policy: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler No schedule change requests or alternate shifts are permitted; the posted shift and schedule are firm
