Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract A skilled professional with expertise in echocardiography is sought to perform imaging procedures in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care through high-quality diagnostic services.
Qualifications and Skills:
Registered or certified in Echocardiography (ARDMS or CCI preferred) Demonstrated proficiency performing 2D and Doppler echocardiograms Prior experience in a healthcare environment as an Echo Tech Knowledgeable in cardiac anatomy, pathology, and sonographic principles Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients and clinical teams
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document echocardiograms as ordered by physicians Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure optimal image quality Identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic data Collaborate with cardiologists and medical staff to facilitate accurate diagnoses Maintain patient safety, privacy, and adherence to infection control protocols Keep accurate records according to facility guidelines Ensure routine maintenance and cleanliness of equipment This role presents the opportunity to work with dedicated healthcare professionals and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.
