Job Description
Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Step into a vital role providing specialized patient care as an Echo Technologist. Your expertise in cardiac sonography will make a genuine difference for patients as you operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment and work with a cohesive team of healthcare professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in echocardiography (ARDMS or CCI preferred) Demonstrable experience in performing cardiac ultrasound procedures, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting Proficient in obtaining high-quality diagnostic images and interpreting preliminary findings Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare personnel Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to cardiac imagingPrimary Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for echocardiogram studies and ensure comfort throughout the process Perform transthoracic, stress, and other specialized echocardiographic exams as ordered by physicians Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and functionality Capture clear, usable images and provide accurate measurements for physician review Document and archive studies and maintain patient records in accordance with compliance guidelines and privacy standards Assist cardiologists with procedures and respond to emergent cardiac imaging needs as required Monitor equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors This contract opportunity offers a chance to gain valuable clinical experience, work with cutting-edge imaging technology, and contribute directly to patient health and diagnostic accuracy.
