Ultrasound Technologist Location:
Waimea, Hawaii Pay Rate:
$80/hr
Contract:
13 weeks
Schedule:
Flexible rotating day/night shifts; weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage required
Experience:
Minimum 3 years required About the Role We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week quick-start contract opportunity in Waimea, Hawaii. This role supports a rural hospital setting and requires full competency in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography studies, along with the ability to work independently across multiple facility locations. Responsibilities Perform General, Vascular, and Echocardiography ultrasound studies Operate independently in a rural hospital environment with strong technical accuracy Document imaging exams accurately using Cerner Support patient safety, image quality, and timely completion of diagnostic studies Work at both KVMH and SMMH as needed, including on-call coverage Requirements ARDMS Certification In General, Vascular, And Echocardiography Required
BLS/BCLS
Certification Required Minimum 3 years of ultrasound experience required Must be competent in General, Vascular, and Echo modalities Must be flexible for rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, on-call coverage, and reside within 20 minutes of the hospital while on call Bring your multi-modality ultrasound expertise to a meaningful rural healthcare opportunity where your independence, accuracy, and patient-focused imaging skills can make a strong impact.
