Key Qualifications:

Current certification in echocardiography or cardiac sonography (RDCS or RCS required) Demonstrated proficiency performing adult echocardiograms, including Doppler and color flow studies Sound knowledge of cardiac anatomy and related pathophysiology Familiarity with imaging equipment and digital PACS systems Ability to communicate clearly with physicians and support staff Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA guidelines

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality echocardiographic examinations according to physician orders Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process Acquire and analyze ultrasound data, producing accurate reports for interpretation Assist in maintaining equipment, performing safety and quality control checks Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to discuss findings and support patient care Contribute to scheduling efficiency and patient workflow within the imaging department Maintain meticulous records and adhere to established protocols
