Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an experienced imaging professional to perform general ultrasound studies in a dynamic healthcare setting. This position operates on a 7-on, 7-off rotation (Wednesday to Tuesday), offering a well-defined schedule to promote work/life balance.

AM Friday:
8:30 PM•8:30
AM Saturday:
8:00 PM•8:30
AM Sunday:
8:00 PM•6:30
AM Monday, Tuesday:
8:30 PM•6:30 AM Key Qualifications Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proficiency with GE Centricity PACS for image storage and retrieval Experience working with Peripheral Intravenous Catheter (PIC) placement is highly desired Prior hospital-based ultrasound experience preferred Role Responsibilities Conduct general ultrasound procedures, ensuring diagnostic accuracy and quality patient care Prepare imaging equipment and ensure proper documentation of procedures Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to provide timely and effective diagnostic information Utilize GE Centricity PACS system to manage imaging data securely Maintain a high standard of infection control and patient safety protocols Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns with empathy This contract opportunity is ideal for an imaging specialist seeking a structured schedule and the chance to contribute meaningfully to patient care.
