POSITION OVERVIEW

This position involves general sonography coverage in the evenings , including call, weekends, and holiday rotations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in rooms/patient care to complement staffing needs Manage staffing schedules, payroll reviews, and staff education/training programs Lead and delegate patient care, acting as supervisor in their absence Manage daily operations to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Maintain professional expertise and support personal/professional growth among coworkers Resolve complex unit situations such as patient complaints and crises Research and recommend strategies to meet patient care needs Evaluate sonograms for technical quality and adjust machine settings for accuracy Perform equipment calibrations and adjustments Select technical factors and imaging modes appropriately, calling for service as needed

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Licensure/Certification:

Current ARDMS or ARRT registration in Sonography [

REQUIRED

] Demonstrated ability to manage patient care in a collaborative, organized manner Experience performing equipment calibrations, selecting technical factors, and evaluating sonogram quality Strong leadership, discretion, and professional judgment
