Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OBGYN Ultrasound Technician to join our Femcare team. In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Your expertise in sonography, anatomy, and physiology will be essential in capturing high-quality images that contribute to accurate patient assessments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring compassionate care and precise imaging. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced medical imaging techniques. Responsibilities Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and cooperation. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce clear images of internal organs, tissues, and fetal development as needed. Apply proper aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient information in compliance with medical standards. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and used according to safety protocols. Educate patients about the procedure process, addressing questions with clear communication skills while demonstrating empathy. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging principles. Proficiency in sonography techniques specific to obstetrics, gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and diagnostic radiology. Atleast 2- 3 years of experience in OBGYN preferred. Familiarity with maternal-fetal medicine practices for fetal imaging and assessments. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to ultrasound diagnostics and patient care. Ability to adhere strictly to aseptic techniques to prevent infections during procedures. Understanding of the use of ultrasound equipment within a clinical setting for accurate diagnosis.
Pay:
From $30.00 per hour
