Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved Allied Health program with additional training in ultrasound Registered in Adult Vascular and ECHO by ARDMS or CCI BLS certification (AHA required) At least two years of experience in ultrasound imaging Proficiency scanning adult patients; pediatric experience a plus Strong knowledge of vascular and cardiac anatomy and ultrasound physics Understanding of AIC accreditation is advantageous

Responsibilities:

Complete adult cardiac echo exams, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as prescribed Collaborate with medical staff to design patient care and education plans Interact with patients and families, demonstrating sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and specific patient needs Operate and care for a variety of imaging systems and related diagnostic equipment Navigate physical demands such as transporting machines and negotiating awkward scanning positions
