Schedule Variable shifts Position Highlights In this dynamic travel role, you will work under the guidance of the department leader, performing and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory, cardiac, and vascular health. Your primary focus centers on delivering high-quality ultrasound studies, including adult cardiac echoes, while also consulting with physicians and care teams. Every day offers opportunities to interact with diverse patient populations, contribute to patient education, and practice at the forefront of imaging technology. Desired Qualifications Graduate of an approved Allied Health program plus advanced ultrasound training Current credentials in Adult Vascular and ECHO (ARDMS or CCI) BLS certification (AHA required) At least two years' experience in general ultrasound; cardiac echo experience with adults essential Competence scanning both adult (required) and pediatric (preferred, not mandatory) patients Solid understanding of anatomy, ultrasound physics, and operation of imaging and testing equipment Experience collaborating across interdisciplinary teams and communicating with patients and families Role Responsibilities Perform comprehensive general and vascular ultrasound studies; complete adult cardiac echoes Obtain and follow written physician prescriptions for all procedures Ensure excellence in patient safety and care planning Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans Operate a broad range of imaging and physiologic monitoring equipment Maintain thorough documentation and support quality assurance Benefits & Travel Perks Tax-advantaged stipends to help cover housing and meals Professional travel support with relocation assistance Premium compensation for travel assignments Healthcare benefits and 401(k) for financial well-being Continued job security with steady placement opportunities Exposure to advanced clinical practices and ongoing professional growth Embark on your next clinical adventure in Colchester.
