Desired Experience and Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency performing echocardiograms (Echo) Familiarity with current imaging equipment and protocols in a clinical healthcare setting Registered or certified in Echo technology preferred (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent) Strong attention to detail and quality assurance in image capture Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and clinical settings Travel radiology/imaging experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Perform echocardiographic procedures as ordered by physicians Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with best practices Capture high-quality images and assist with preliminary findings as needed Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of patient information Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and healthcare team members Uphold all facility protocols and regulatory guidelines
