Yes - Rotational About the Role MedOp Solutions is partnering with a leading healthcare system in the Chicagoland area to hire an experienced Pediatric Echocardiography Technologist for a contract assignment supporting multiple pediatric cardiology locations. This role focuses on performing high-quality pediatric echocardiography studies across a variety of outpatient and hospital-based settings. The ideal candidate has extensive pediatric echo experience, strong technical expertise, and the flexibility to travel between multiple facilities throughout Lake and Cook Counties. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled pediatric cardiac sonographer seeking a dynamic role within a collaborative and patient-focused cardiovascular team.
Unit Information Specialty:
Pediatric Echocardiography Experience Required:
Minimum 4 years of pediatric echo experience
Preferred Experience:
5+ years Patient Types Pediatric cardiology patients Neonatal through adolescent populations Congenital and acquired cardiac conditions Key Responsibilities Perform pediatric echocardiography studies independently Obtain high-quality cardiac ultrasound images for physician interpretation Assist with assessment of congenital and acquired cardiac abnormalities Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate imaging documentation and workflow Travel between assigned Lake and Cook County locations as needed Participate in on-call rotation coverage Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of pediatric echocardiography experience required Strong pediatric cardiac imaging skills Ability to work independently across multiple clinical settings Excellent communication and patient care skills Flexibility to float between multiple facilities Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of pediatric echocardiography experience Experience in hospital and outpatient pediatric cardiology environments
Scheduling & Expectations Day Shift:
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Weekend coverage as needed On-call rotation: One full week every 6th week On-call hours: 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM Coverage may be required at any Lake/Cook County location Holiday coverage as needed
