Key Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved Allied Health program with specialty training in ultrasound procedures Minimum two years of experience in general ultrasound, adult cardiac echo required ARDMS certification and BLS (AHA) required Registered in Adult Vascular and ECHO (ARDMS or CCI) Pediatric scanning experience a plus but not required Solid knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and diagnostic testing for vascular and cardiac systems Comfortable with diverse patient populations and culturally sensitive care
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures for respiratory, cardiac, and vascular conditions as prescribed Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans Educate patients and families on procedures and care processes Utilize a range of imaging systems, dopplers, EKG machines, Holter monitors, and relevant technology Adapt to variable physical demands, including operating portable machines and positioning equipment for optimal results Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and quality standards
