Position Overview:
Working under the guidance of the Cardiopulmonary Leader, you will manage and perform diagnostic procedures for respiratory, cardiac, and vascular disorders, following physician prescriptions. Your collaboration with physicians, nurses, patients, and families will be essential in developing comprehensive care and educational plans. This role also supports professional growth through exposure to advancing technology and evolving clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complete adult cardiac echos; adult and (optionally) pediatric scanning Execute both vascular and cardiac diagnostic ultrasound tests Prepare and educate patients and families on procedures Engage with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Operate, maintain, and adapt to a range of diagnostic equipment Maintain efficient documentation and adhere to professional standards
Desired Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved Allied Health program with Ultrasound training ARDMS (or CCI) registration in Adult Vascular and
ECHO BLS
certification (AHA required) At least two years of General Ultrasound experience Capable of adult scanning; pediatric skills are a plus Proficiency in ultrasound physics, anatomy, and instrumentation Knowledge of AIC accreditation is advantageous
