ASAP Shift/Schedule:

8 or 10hr DAY shifts available! 40hrs/wk Total 30-minute lunch Two 15-minute catch-up blocks built into schedule Responsibilities Perform outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms General cardiology patient population Adult patients only (18+) Proficient in all aspects of an Echo Lab, including all tests (i.e. 2D Echo/Doppler/Color Flow, Stress Echo, Contrast study) Provide professional quality technical care for the Clinic patients, according to established guidelines and practices. Enter all necessary data into EMR. Be familiar with saving/retriving images on DVR. Recognize and report to cardiologist significant abnormal findings. Perform Doppler Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography. Check images for the signs of contraindication for the Stress test. Maintain testing area with necessary supplies, materials, and cleanliness. Possess skill to perform everyday duties to maintain the highest quality standard established in the Echo Lab and cardiology department. Perform related work responsibilities as required or needed in the Echo Lab Have knowledge of safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe work environment. Be skilled in maintaining and preparing records.

Conduct:

No inpatient work No TEE procedures 8-hour shift: approximately 9 patients/day 10-hour shift: approximately 12 patients/day Required Skills RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification RDCS or CCI 2-3+ years of experience Hospital-based experience preferred Experience performing adult echocardiography Preferred Skills Experience with strain imaging Experience with bubble studies Structural heart patient experience Schedule/Shift 8-hour or 10-hour shifts 8-hour shift: approximately 9 patients/day 10-hour shift: approximately 12 patients/day 30-minute lunch Two 15-minute catch-up blocks built into schedule
