Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Make a difference in patient care by applying your expertise in echocardiography in a supportive healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys working with a dedicated clinical team to deliver quality imaging services.
Schedule:
Four 9-hour shifts per week
Days:
7:00am - 4:30pm (Monday through Friday)
Qualifications:
Current BLS certification required Registered with ARDMS or CCI in echocardiography Proven experience as an Echo Tech, with strong proficiency in performing echocardiograms and related cardiac imaging procedures Detail-oriented with excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiography procedures, including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms as needed Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality guidelines Accurately document and report findings for physician review, ensuring timely and precise communication Prepare and position patients for diagnostic procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns to create a positive patient experience Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize workflow and provide exemplary patient care Adhere to department protocols, infection prevention, and all safety regulations within the imaging department
