The ultrasound technologist works with and assists the physician in the performance of assigned procedures. This position assists in the training of students and sonographers, in Ultrasound. The ultrasound technologist maintains optimum timeliness, accuracy, proficiency, efficiency, and safety during the execution of duties, and works closely with patients to ensure they have an understanding of procedures and are comfortable during procedures.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Shift hours 6:45 am to 7:15pm Monday to Thursday Sign On Bonus Available (Ask your Talent Acquisition Advisor if you are eligible for Sign-on Bonus) Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using imaging equipment that emits non-invasive sound waves to evaluate internal organs, blood vessels, tissues, and other structures Review ultrasound images to ensure quality, accuracy, and sufficient anatomical coverage Maintain accurate patient records while respecting confidentiality standards Follow established safety guidelines, including infection control and universal precautions Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Provide education and support to patients and students Participate in performance improvement (PI) processes to enhance patient care and operational efficiency Preferred candidate would have 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound experience or 5 years of Obstetric/Gynecologic (OB/GYN) ultrasound experience Preferred certifications: Obstetrics (OB/GYN) and Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
