The shift is Monday, Thursday, Friday 8am-4:30pm. There is call rotation every 9th weekend from 8am-7pm on Saturday and Sunday. New Hire Bonus available for those who qualify! Provides diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound to generate non-invasive images of the vascular system. Possesses knowledge of vascular anatomy and physiology. Evaluates images for diagnostic quality and makes necessary adjustments to capture the best possible images. Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and adjusting equipment as needed. Complies with vascular imaging protocols per accreditation guidelines. Provides intraoperative ultrasound as requested. Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. May also require Advanced Life Support certification, if applicable. Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning. Requires active status through one of the following: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS): Registered Vascular Technologist - Vascular Technology, RVT (VT); Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): Registered Vascular Sonographer, RVS; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography RT(VS). May require experience in diagnostic ultrasound, if applicable. May be required to meet registry/certification requirements for another modality, if applicable. May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable. #LI-Onsite We are an equal opportunity employer.
