The Ultrasound Registered Tech supports ultrasound imaging and patient care operations. You would ensure patient readiness, proper positioning, and smooth exam flow. This role reports to the Manager of Imaging Services. Essential & valuable skills gained (in this unit or in this department): Hands-on experience in a diagnostic imaging environment Understanding ultrasound exam flow and clinical standards Development of patient communication and support skills Collaboration within a multidisciplinary imaging team (Unit / Dept.) Successes and Designation Recognized for compassionate, accurate, and efficient imaging services Commitment to quality, safety, and patient experience (Unit / Dept.) Training & Onboarding Culture Hands-on training with experienced imaging team members Supportive, collaborative onboarding culture
Essential Job Duties:
Perform procedures, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follow physician's instructions, prepare, and operate all equipment, and position patients correctly to obtain the requested diagnostic images. Create a positive experience for every customer, every day by believing in and practicing our core values of collaboration, transparency, integrity, stewardship, and being patient focused. Treating all team members with compassion, professionalism, and respect.Qualifications:
Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers General Ultrasound experience preferred.
