Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Travel Embrace a rewarding travel assignment in Overland Park, KS, a vibrant city renowned for its welcoming community and nearby cultural attractions. This location not only offers a dynamic setting to expand your clinical expertise but also provides the perfect launchpad to explore the greater Kansas City area filled with parks, museums, and a lively food scene during your downtime. This opportunity is ideal for experienced cardiac sonographers eager to deepen their knowledge across diverse practice environments, collaborate with talented teams, and enhance their resume with exposure to both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as operating and cath lab procedures.
Schedule:
8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM No weekends or holidays required One night on-call per week
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of clinical cardiac ultrasound experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer At least 4,000 echocardiograms performed RCS-CCI or
RDCS-ARDMS
certification, plus current BLS Graduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound/health sciences program preferred Experience or training in IV and UEA contrast administration favored Familiarity with GE Vivid E95 and Philips CVX is a plus Neonatal echo experience welcomed, but not mandatory
Role Overview:
Perform high-quality echocardiograms in a variety of care settings (inpatient, outpatient, emergency) Support procedures in the OR, cath lab, and EP lab No floating assignments Attend TUKHS two-day orientation and on-site training before starting regular duties Utilize
EPIC EMR
system for comprehensive patient documentation
