Job Description

Wichita OB/GYN is seeking an experienced PRN Ultrasound Technician with OB/GYN experience for our very busy practice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform various diagnostic testing assessments and examinations. Evaluate the quality of the images. Demonstrate skills and knowledge to assess the anatomy and physiology of imaging. Present still images to the physician for diagnostic purposes. Notify the physician of any abnormalities. Prepare and sterilize room and equipment. Complete patient charts and records. Utilize EMR to obtain and enter care data. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians and staff.
Requirement and Skills:
Minimum 1 - 2 years of work experience as an Ultrasound Technician with OB/GYN experience Graduate school from an accredited school of Medical Sonography Professional licensure as an Ultrasound Technician via the state Excellent bedside manner and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress work environment Ability to lift heavy loads and objects. Ability to interpret reports This schedule for this position is PRN and is variable hour.
