What We're Looking For:
  • Completion of an Ultrasound program (required).
  • ARDMS Certification (required).
  • 1-2 years Ultrasonography experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound protocols and cross-sectional anatomy.

What You Will Do:
Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, accuracy, and excellence in imaging quality as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provides advanced technical skills and coordinates patient care activities in assigned ultrasound areas.
  • Performs ultrasound procedures, positions patients, demonstrates cross-sectional anatomy knowledge, and produces high-quality images.
  • Prepares rooms, equipment, and patients; practices aseptic technique; evaluates images; and documents electronically.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, radiologists, physicians, and staff using AIDET.
  • Supervises or trains ultrasound students as needed.
  • Ensures regulatory readiness, maintains licensure and CPR, completes education, and performs other duties as assigned.
