Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic mobile imaging team . In this vital role, you will utilize advanced sonography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Your expertise in medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology will ensure accurate assessments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care through precise imaging and compassionate communication. Duties Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of internal organs and tissues. Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and obstetricians to interpret imaging results and provide comprehensive reports. Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in accordance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients about the ultrasound process, addressing questions with clarity and reassurance to promote a positive experience. Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles to optimize imaging quality. Stay current with technological advancements in sonography and medical imaging to continually enhance skills and service quality. Qualifications Cardiac (Echo) registered candidates take priority. Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology practices. Proficiency in sonography techniques and familiarity with various ultrasound modalities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to interpret ultrasound images accurately for diagnostic purposes. Certification as required by state or national licensing bodies; ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification is highly desirable. Cardiac and Vascular a plus!
